An amusing collection of – just what the title says – Worst Ways to Cure. This book was a very humorous look at some of the extreme measures that people have put themselves through all in the name of being healthy. It reminded me that medicine is a practice – and I really hope someday practice makes perfect. In the meantime I am grateful for how far we have come.
The author sprinkles in some interesting side facts that add to the readability of the book. The book is not for the faint of heart as some of the explanations of treatments and side effects can be graphic. The illustrations really enhance the reading experience.
This is a great book for those of us who read more than one at a time as you can pick it up and put it down without losing the story line. This book will be released on October 17.
