Annie Abbott and the Race to the Red Queen by Isabelle Nelson & Michael Nelson

This is the second installment of the series by this father/daughter author team. Annie embarks on a perilous journey of self-discovery and survival. The reader is plunged into an adrenaline-pumping world where Annie’s newfound powers continue to evolve, and the unrelenting threat of the ‘unclean’ looms ominously.

As the story unfolds, we witness Annie’s remarkable growth as a character. She matures both emotionally and in her understanding of the mystical abilities she’s inherited. Danger lurks at every turn and epic battles are fought to safeguard Annie’s existence.

The quest adds an intriguing layer to the plot, hinting at ancient secrets waiting to be unveiled. The author’s immerses readers in a fantastical realm where magic and danger coexist.

This is a captivating continuation of Annie’s journey, blending adventure, magic, and character development seamlessly. Perfect for middle school through adult, I am now hooked and eagerly anticipating the next installment.
