I have to admit, I was already a little biased about this book before I even opened it – it’s set in New Jersey, and as a Jersey girl currently enduring the sweltering Texas heat with over 100-degree days, the idea of fall apple picking felt like a much-needed escape. I could practically smell those … Continue reading Wilde Temptation: Book One Candlewood Falls Series by K.M. Fawcett – GIVEAWAY TOO!

Madison Square Murder: Memento Mori #1 by C. S. Poe
This was supposed to be my read for the week, but I couldn’t stop once I started. The main character, Detective Larkin, has just the perfect amount of quirk to keep him interesting and me engaged. While wandering through an artist festival in Kansas City, I noticed a small pile of books among the various jewelry and pottery displays. So of course, I headed straight there, where I met the smiling author of this collection. A Charming Crime: Magical Cures Mystery #1 by Tonya Kappes
When I first saw the cover of this book, I thought, "A cat? Really?" But let me tell you, Mr. Prince Charming is a delightful addition! Beaches, Bungalows & Burglaries – A Camper & Criminals Cozy Mystery by Tonya Kappes
This is a delightful start to a series! I absolutely adored the main character, Mae West – I mean, with that name, who wouldn't? Her circumstances and the way she handles the curveballs life keeps throwing her are both entertaining and heartwarming. When her "EX" (as she hilariously reminds everyone) turns up at the rundown … Continue reading Beaches, Bungalows & Burglaries – A Camper & Criminals Cozy Mystery by Tonya Kappes
