It has been a while since I felt that a book might have a decent story but was not for me.
This is a long and involved book. It is not helped by the fact that the main character changes names and those she deals with have proper names that are similar and nicknames that are unrelated. I read the first 150 pages but could not get into the story. I had problems feeling sympathy for or caring about the characters. There are some good basic ideas in the story but unfortunately this was not my cup of tea.
SUMMARY
Midnight to Morning is the gripping tale of one woman’s journey through the darkest times of her life, her rescue, amazing awakening, and the discovery that her life has been guided from the start. Be there as she learns the world is not how it appears to be, and as the people who rescued her train her to help them save countless others. Experience as she comes alive again and learns that midnight has passed and morning has come. Truly an inspirational journey, written for a wide range of readers. It is the first of a four book series and has just enough twists and turns, mystery, and discovery to keep the reader entranced.
Boo. Sad to hear this one was not for you! It definitely sounds a little convoluted! 😕🤔
