Fiction – Romance Comedy – Finally a romance character older than 20! Twists and turns – subplot of a mystery and humor – it has it all.
YES! the consistently grand level of this author comes through once again. A great way to spend the first cold front of the season curled up with this book! As always, one of the things I like best about Lipman’s books are her characters (or maybe just that there are so many of them that might be part of my family?!) and their relationship to each other in the books. The conversations are realistic and just the way my friends and family talk so I always feel like I am part of the story. The humor was spot on and the romance melted my heart. Simply said 5 stars from someone that doesn’t give what is not earned.
