I do not usually review children’s books – after 15 years as a Children’s Librarian I thought I was Kid Booked enough.  BUT, this sweet (pun intended) book is my exception.

Two boys discover the joy of melt in your mouth Gulab Jamuns that their mama has made – but there are only 10 and guests are on their way.

This is a cuddle book for you and your child or grandchild but it is also a great read aloud for a story time as there is so much to talk about.  The illustrations are adorable and complement the book as well as give opportunity for more discussions.  The book includes a recipe to make your own sweet treats – I however will continue to beg from my neighbors!
