This book features those people in our world who just seem to have a little something extra.  The ability to put people at ease, or know what is going on behind the façade we put up.  Those abilities and a strong thriller/suspense plot made this book a great read.  When I first saw this book I noticed a comment mentioning Paranormal  and that gave me a pause.  It is not my favorite genre and frankly I am a big scaredy cat when it comes to ghosts and such.  It was not like that.

At the heart this is a well done FBI story there are characters that are a little off center or one step from the stereotype and I liked it! The main characters Adrian and Cat are part of a special group of FBI called Trackers.  They work together with their team on the extremely difficult cases.  This story starts with an agent’s disappearance and quickly escalates to what could be a National disaster.

The web for this detailed plot is well presented and easy to enjoy.  This book is part of a series and I have not read any of the other books, however I never felt like I missed out on anything – more like I wanted to know more.

Side note – there is no sexual tension between the main characters and I believe this made it even more authentic.  It is possible for men and women to work together and not want a physical relationship – purely a work relationship.  Well done!
