This weekend over 60,000 readers will descend upon the Capitol grounds in Austin to celebrate BOOKS at the Texas Book Festival! I am thrilled to have a double booth in the Pavilion tent. During the weekend I will have Indie Authors doing book signing, giveaways and an incredible selection of books for sale. I will also have information on my services, services available with JuliaPicks1 and information on the brand new Indies United Publishing House.
Please stop by and say hello! I am offering free books to Book Bloggers and Book Reviewers. Stop by and show me or Julia your reviews/blog and you will have your pick of a free book!
Here are the authors that will be highlighted at Jennie Reads.
Aaron Gallagher – This author has a crime fiction series I love – the Bennett & DeMarko Mysteries. He says this about himself – I started writing when I was seven or eight. I remember playing with an old mechanical typewriter my mother owned. I never looked back. The fourth book in the series will be out in early 2019.
Ruthie Robinson – This author’s last book Into the Weeds was a thought provoking love story that is currently available at Book People and was recently reviewed by the New York Review of Books! Her characters find themselves in a world where they have other lives. Her works are steamy with incredible stories and characters.
Jessie Scott – This new author recently released Evidence of Love that impressed and entertained me. She looks at romance with a new angle – everything is not perfect. Her book blurb says – “She needs dirty whispers to get off. He’s a man of few words.” She is a new force in the romance genre.
Manuel Ruiz – Middle school and high school kids will love this authors’ series The Dead Club! It’s about a group of kids that are dead and stuck in purgatory because it is broken. With the help of the Grim Reaper and some special abilities, the fun is just starting. What kid wouldn’t love a character that can throw snot balls!
Tweed Scott – This Veteran Broadcaster has written Texas In Her Own Words which explains why Texans are the way they are! It’s a beautiful book that has won three National Awards.
Anna Castle– This author has three Mystery series that are called Mysteries with heart and wit! She does an incredible amount of research, and it shows in her works. I have read her Professor Moriarty series and loved them!
M.G. Herron – Is the author of the Translocator Trilogy and other imaginative stories of science fiction and fantasy. When he’s not inventing new worlds, Matt works as a marketing strategist and freelance copywriter.
Steve Statham – The author of the Connor Rix SF thrillers, an action-packed adventure of a bio-enhanced private investigator. He also writes mind-bending space opera tales.
Also books by
Maria Schob – Master of My Time will be available. This slim volume is a must read for anyone wanting clear and easy to follow help on organizing all aspects of their lives.
Jesse Beard – Cowtown 1872 will be available. Follow three families on their journey into Texas. This book is based on the author’s family.
Jeffrey Warren – Justifiable Homicide will be available. This thriller asks “Where is the money” and the journey will keep you turning the pages.
Jason Stanley – Hard Revenge the first in the Michelle Angelique series will be available. Sick at heart. . . Mad to the bone. . .Witness to her brother’s murder, Michelle is dead set on revenge.
