This was the perfect introduction to a “new to me” cozy mystery series. The main character, Lacey pulls you right in with her tossing the fast city life to open a flower shop in the small town. The supporting characters have an easily familiar feel and enhance the plot. Her pets, (although I think Kingston may think he is the owner and Lacey is the pet) and cat add the right balance and “extra cozy” to the tale. Add in a nose that has a superpower ability at smelling, and the book just flowed. Last year I received this book as a giveaway and had it tucked into my kindle – so glad to rediscover it there during my vacation!
