The Adventures of Brett and Molly By Jeffrey Warren

Adventures BrettI enjoyed the first book in this series and looked forward to catching up again with Brett & Molly.  This book starts two years later in 1961 as Brett and Molly are finishing high school and preparing for their wedding and start at the university.  As they set out with friends on another sailing adventure during the summer, two other story lines are happening simultaneously.  With a lot of interesting research, the reader is given a look into the life of native Indians as well as views back in time to researchers and even Russian history.

Mr. Warren is a story weaver of great talent who can keep you engaged in all branches of his plot.  Even though this is the second book, it can be read alone as the author does give you just enough background to know the base of the story.  However, I think it is much more enjoyable to read both.
