Sanctuary Moon by Chris Manno

Every once in a while, I get a book that just stands above all the other books I have recently read – this is that book.  Just WOW – I loved it.  OK you know I enjoy history, and this has it plus time travel – how could I not love it.  Throw in some great relationships, characters that feel like they are in the room with you and fast-paced adventure and this book is a 5 star for me.  I can easily see how this book was a finalist at the North Texas Book Festival, what I can’t understand is why it only placed 3rd. Is it perfection? – No but it’s a darn good story.

Check out the author’s website because he also does some pretty clever comics!

SUMMARY

“Time is a thief and history a lie,” says young Dr. Tessa Leonard, historian and survivor of the brutal Nazi takeover of Austria. But what if the past could be redone, if Keplerian math theory and cosmology could grant you access to the alchemy of time, fate, and destiny, and let YOU set things right? Join Tessa Leonard and mathematician Troc Ang on their harrowing firsthand experience of the Fall of Saigon in 1975 and the dreaded Nazi “Anschluss” in 1938. Who dies, who’s saved, and at what price? This story from award-winning novelist Chris Manno (East Jesus, Voodoo Rush and Blood & Remembrance) is an adventure you’ll live rather than read, and one you won’t soon forget.
