Originally I am from New Jersey – Central NJ to be exact and yes there is such a place even if North NJ and South NJ are always trying to claim us!  When this book crossed my desk, I was interested. The tales of the Jersey Devil were vast during my teens and any trip near the Pine Barrens included the lore.  You did not want to be stuck on a section of Pine Barrens road in the dark!

Author DiGerolamo presents a fun and light-hearted look at cousins trying to deal with the devil spawn.  A great popcorn book – meaning you enjoy it while reading but it’s not quite a meal.  This is the first book and a novella so my hope is that as the story develops, the reader gets enough about the characters to be able to make a connection and really get involved in the story.  Meanwhile it was pleasurable entertainment!
