This is a delightful tale that includes space travel, kid like behaviors and making new friends. Landing in a strange place can be a challenge but with the variety of new friends available the main character can easily find her place. Every child should connect with at least one of the friendly Oomlots. Personally I think Paige and I would get along terrifically.

Do not allow the darker cover to distract you as once you open the book, it is lovely.
