A self help book with heart and soul. This book is tightly packed with information and suggestions to get your life on track. I read it once all the way through but I think it might have been better to read and digest sections before moving forward.
The author guides you along with information and descriptions of subjects but then follows up with the steps you can take to implement them into your life. There are a lot of questions to ask yourself as you go through the process of developing your purpose and goals in life. There are also many times when bullet points help to get to the real “meat” of the issue.
You can tell that this author is well read as there are quotes sprinkled throughout the book and they add to the enjoyment and reinforce the message. He included one of my favorite quotes “Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter, and those who matter don’t mind.” – Bernard M. Baruch
There is a strong religious element to the book but I never felt like it was preaching – more like another view and guidance. This is definitely a feel better about yourself book – and how to accomplish reaching your life’s goals and purpose.
